In the middle of the street there are kids who play either football or have a hoop where they play in the middle of the street. They constantly lean on or bump cars.

  • 1415 Bristow Street BRONX, NY - City Council District 16
EVERY WINTER IT SEEMS AS IF THIS BUILDING IS VERY COLD. THERE ARE CHILDREN IN THIS BUILDING. MYSELF AND SOME NEIGHBORS ARE COMPLAINING BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE HEAT OR WE HAVE VERY LITTLE HEAT. THE CITY WAS CALLED A FEW TIMES AND WHEN A BUILDING INSPECTOR COMES, IT SEEMS LIKE THE SUPER RAPIDLY TURNS ON THE HEAT AND THEN WHEN THE CITY LEAVES, SO DOES THE HEAT! ITS RIDICULOUS FOR STRUGGLING FAMILIES TO PAY RENT WITHOUT RECEIVING AN ADEQUATE AMOUNT OF HEAT. MY CHILD IS 5 YEARS OLD. 5 YEARS OLD! WE ALL HAVE A COLD BECAUSE OF THIS MOLDY AND COLD APARTMENT. THIS IS YEAR 2013! CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE ASAP! PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO HELP US. WE ARE IN DESPERATE NEED.

  • Traffic flowオープン
2230 Beverly Road Brooklyn, New York - City Council District 40
Beverly Road is a popular route with cars, trucks and other vehicles going towads and from Flatbush Avenue. Traffic flowing from East 23 Street onto Beverly Road is impeded by this traffic flow and it makes it very difficult to make either a right or left hand turn. Furthermore, trying to ease onto Beverly Road is particularly hard because of parked cars in front of 2230 Beverly Road, which interferes with a driver's vision. The driver has difficulty seeing oncoming traffic already on Beverly Road while attempting to make either a right or left turn from East 23 Street. Easing onto Beverly Road from East 23 Street is extremely and somewhat dangerous.
I would recommend that a traffic study be done on East 23 Street and Beverly Road in order to understand the need for a "No Parking Sign" in front of 2230 Beverly Road or the installation of a traffic light at the corner.
Either choice would benefit all drivers as well as the community.
  • 6 Morningside Ave New York, NY 10026, USA - Morningside Heights
there is always goose feces covering the walkways and grass around the pond, because people insist on feeding the geese. Park employees DO NOTHING to stop them. The signs aren't working!!
  • 132 Nevins St. New York, Brooklyn - Boerum Hill
The NYC Dept. of Environmental Protection has trucks digging up Nevins Street and closing off traffic. As a result, trucks and buses cannot make the unexpected turn onto Dean St. and currently a big bus is stuck in the intersection, causing traffic tie-ups and a cascade of honking horns - right outside of an elementary school and residential area. When we asked the DOEP manager on the job (sitting in his idling truck, said his name was Jefferson) to close off the street or signal to driver that there is work ahead to avoid traffic jams, he belligerently said it wasn't his problem. This is unsensitive, unresponsive city government at its worst!
